Administration
Microneedling uses tiny needlepoints to create punctures within the dermis encouraging the body’s collagen and elastin production for smoother skin.

Postcare
Dr. Katie Boyle will give you aftercare instructions that should be followed to minimize side effects and optimize results.

Microneedling
Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that uses small, sterilized needles to prick the skin. This practice also has the option to do microneedling with the addition of Radio Frequency (RF) energy, which has been shown to provide more powerful results, more quickly than traditional microneedling. Microneedling may reduce the appearance of dark spots, wrinkles, fine lines, large pores, scars and uneven skin texture.
Safety
Microneedling is minimally invasive, requiring little to no downtime. It’s considered safe for most people who are in overall good health. The procedure may not be safe for people who use certain acne medications, for those with active acne, or for those with uncontrolled Diabetes, with moderate to severe inflammatory skin conditions, those pregnant or breastfeeding and those with implantable medical devices.
You can experience minor redness and irritation for a few days after the procedure.

Convenience
Each session may last about 30 – 60 minutes. You may need multiple treatments for the best results.
Benefits
Microneedling has gained popularity for its growing list of benefits. It is said to rejuvenate and plump the skin with minimal discomfort and very little downtime, and it can be adjusted to fit each person’s needs.
